    DIY DEODORANT

    Whipped Shea Butter Cream Deodorant

1/2 lb shea butter (make sure this is pure shea butter with no added fragrance or any other ingredients)

    1 tsp baking soda

1 tbs non GMO corn starch

    10 drops ginger essential oil

    10 drops spearmint essential oil

    10 drops lime essential oil

Directions: Melt shea butter in a microwave-safe glass measuring cup in the microwave until completely melted.  Remove from microwave (careful, it's going to be hot).  Let it sit for a few minutes and cool a bit.  Add baking soda and corn starch and stir in with a small wire whisk.  Stir until clumps of powder are completely broken up.  Add essential oils and stir in.

Pour mixture in to a heat-safe bowl or container.  Place in fridge to cool, stirring every half an hour to acheive a softer consistency.  To acheive a whipped texture, use a hand mixer to stir formula right before it has solidified.
